Mazda Motor Corporation today hosted the world premiere of our all-new Mazda BT-50 pickup truck. Fully redesigned for the first time in nine years, the all-new BT-50 is supplied by Isuzu Motor on an OEM basis, and the vehicle will go on sale under the Mazda brand name starting in the Australian market in the latter half of 2020.

The BT-50 is powered by a 3.0-litre diesel engine, which packs an impressive 140kW power and a hefty 450Nm torque. In terms of carrying and towing, the new Mazda BT-50 sits firmly amongst the top of the segment, boasting over 1,000kg payload and 3,500kg towing capacity.

Mazda says the interior of the BT-50 “has been crafted to offer unprecedented levels of comfort, style and functionality. The huge touch-screen leads down into a centre console that is uniquely Mazda in its design and finish. The dash area and door trims are finished using high quality materials that you can appreciate from the moment you sit down. It’s a cabin that rewards driver and passengers alike.”
